Question.. I've rewired my reason project to sonar 5.. I was wondering how do I copy each trak from reason to a track in Sonar so I can work on them seperatly.. Now I can play them but it doesn't stay recorded....

Anyone ???

you can export your reason track as a wav file and then import it in sonar...

with cubase you can do the same if you select only the reason track (solo)...

(however, i never used sonar, but i guess it's not very different)

yeah i figured that out allready ... But What I meant is how to import track / track.. Like, I want the sound of reason track 1 recorded on the 1 track of A sonar project. So i can further manipulate that sound. hmm. i don't know if i'm explaining myself correctly. I just want to use the sounds of the reason synths on individual tracks in sonar... something like that ... greetz

you can push the solo button of your track and then set the L (loop start) and R (loop restart) and save loop as wave. Is this what you want?

not sure how it is with sonar... but in cubase, if u click on rewire, u can select how many reason tracks u want to appear in the cubase-mixer... then in reason, u plug whatever instrument/mixer to the corresponding trackz in the reason 'hardware interface' (which is the module on top...)

maybe this is still not what u mean, seems u want a wave-file from a reason instrument on a sonar track, no? then export as wav, track by track... (i wouldn't go that far, but if u like...)

well i don(t know for Sonar, but controlling a reason instrument is very easy to do with cubase sx...

you just have to connect your reason device (redrum for ex) to the reason hardware interface on free channels for ex channels 3 and 4 Then your redrum should appear in the output track list in cubase, set it on midi channels 3 and 4 and you 'd now be able to assign many vst or directx fx to your reason track ;-)

hope it helped
