PROJECT TENDER – A SONG Where music is made for a film. A film without image. A song to listen to while looking at a clear surface. The text is about particles, specks of dust that float at the surface of our eyes. We see these particles when looking at a white wall, or the clear sky. Scientists are not unanimous as to the explanation of this phenomenon. One explanation, which was retained in this text, suggests that these particles are in fact the residues of the liquid state of the body. At the embryonic state of the latter, before the formation of tissues. These particles are called ‘Myodesopsies’.

The project proposed is to do a song with the text of MYODESOPSIES. (Scroll down to botton page for song's text) The text will be sung or spoken with music, it could even be sung without music. The text is written as a loop. The loop format allows for each song to start at any one point. Phrases or groups of phrases cannot be added to the original text. Phrases or groups of phrases can be repeated several times. The text can be interpreted in every type of music or songs. The music will be proposed as a demo or as a more completed version. The projects must be delivered on CD at the latest on 15 September 2005 Adress: 33 rue des Ingers, 7500 Tournai, Belgique. The project will be presented for the first time in TOUR & TAXIS, BRUSSELS 06 > 09 October 2005 The songs will be played on site, and will be presented with the references of each composer and singer/artist.
