The second edition of Sub Stance gonna bring Jah vibez with pure sub bass delights ! The party will take off with a Roots Dub mix by Protesta. It will be followed by an early Dubstep flava set with a few fresh bits by Bun-Zer0 Then the focus of the night will be delivered by N-Type (Dub Police - Rinse FM) and then Walsh (Immerse - Dub Police). Those guys are pure badmen Dubstep selectaz. Dubplates bizness ! The end of the night will be rocked by a ragga / reggae breakz mix with the mighty Mellow and Red Ant on the decks ! Harmonica spices with Mr Jo and toasted rhymes and soul with da 1Poss MC all night long ! Gonna be massive !

FWF is very nice concept, off course!! I ve got the Peas Project and DJMellow at home ina few week, they record theyr album in Beersel, so i really love FWF !!!!! Lot of big talents in this posse, the shitty thing for me is Le Tavernier, i like this bar, the lill jazzy feelin inside, but, hell, its sooo expensive. So its just personal taste,**go to this party and u ll have fun FOR SURE **! dont want to mek a bad pub for this event. But i m honest too, my opinion is : too expensive, too fashionized, too cool...

Bad, actually. No matter the soundsystem; It's in the atelier/tavernier/anywhere else students from ULB can get drunk section. Went there couple of times to see programs that looked interesting and it's ALWAYS full of a student crowd thinking high of themselves and speaking in loud voices, no matter if there's a live band playing.
The bar service and the extra pricing is an added negative. If you're not a regular, expect to wait a long long time for a drink.
Capacity...that's hard to say. It's a pub, not a club. I'd say some 100 to 120, but you can of course hang around outside.

Originaly the party waz planned at Aman Cafe because of the subs and no direct neighbourood... But in the meantime they went on bankruptcy and didn't even warn us. By chance someone told us last week... So, 2 choices then : cancel the party or find another place. As Mellow and me use to play monthly to the Tavernier, we discussed with the boss about this bad situation and he accepted to host the party. The sound system is good and has subs... So it will suit perfectly dubstep and all the beats we gonna play. If the prices are a bit more expencive we do apologize but it waz an emergency situation to manage. Be aware it's the first time N Type and Walsh will come and play in Belgium. Believe me, it's a big chance cause they are badman dj's and producers !!!!! Cheers

good to know, that was my decision factor
