what are your actual speakers??? im not a pro, not at all, but i bought myself some monitors a year ago and hell it changes everything... Bsout a price range of 140 150€ is really cheap for monitors, dont expect the big bamboum monitors, they wont be powerfull, maybe less then your actual sound system, but the sound man, he ll be cleeeeeaaaaan !! cant help you a lot but if it was for myself i would certainly wait a few month and buy some more expensive monitors. Sound card and monitors are the basics you know, dont buy too fast ... and buy in Deutchland !! cheaper then any other country imao... voila

monitors is something personal, you should check for yourself in a shop.
and here are my remarks:
read a lot of reviews: on soundonsound, harmony central.
if you buy something, get used to the sound of it, listen your favourite tracks through it.
i've got behringer monitors: Behringer Truth B-2031A. certainly not the best possible but i like them and i bought them second hand for only € 250.
A good NAD amplifier & Eltax monitor III bi-cabled loudspeakers would fit your need : around 400 to 450 €.
