And about the V4; it kicks ass indeed but I wouldn't say it's a budget mixer... It's still 900 euros I think

an expensive one, sure. We at narco use an 'old' MX12, and once at an event at the silo, i had the opportunity of trying the V4 ... and i've been dissapointed :) on the otherhand i like the LVS400.  less effects, but very good image quality, and very stable ... sometimes some "cheap" mixers send out shitty synchro, and some beamers are quite sensitive to that... we had the case at a multi-beamer event, think we played on 6 screens, and i remember that one of the beamers had a hard time when we did a specific effect ^^ (it would think it had no input and switch to another non-existing source)... never use the auto-detect source on a beamer ^^

mixing video is different than mixing audio :)   ... can't just mix the signals together ... you have to synchronize the frames :)
