i think anyone has some level of this phenomenon. Imagine how a beat looks like in your imagination in comparison to a hihat... do you notice any difference? i guess you'll do: for me a beat looks round (like a ball) and a hihat is small, sharp and square, like the letter i without the dot. do i make sense here :)) ?

when i started learning music theory, i used to think the name of notes in colours. do = green ré = orange mi = pink etc...
