the first paragraph is completely dedicated to sites like e-bel even if e-bel isn't mentioned. they just want to promote initiatives like this site. why bash them?

i dislike people that start an initiative without first looking if somebody else did ..

worse part is when they think they are unique.

when i started ebel i looked around and didn't find anything, if there was i would simply have joined and helped. Not start my own thing and call myself 'special'

but anyway, as i understand it, it's not an ebel clone or anything, but a website that promotes other websites ?! (while it has a really bad links page)

I got more the impression it's just a cover to organise parties and try to make money, and using the free licence to not pay sabam, get free publicity, get beginning dj's to spin free mp3's, and get money off the bar.

Anyway, i'll contact him to try to get an ebel banner on his site. if he really is promoting free music, then he can't possibly not want to do more for ebel than for a german netlabel :)

You posted a message in our forum about your organization.

But on the other hand I don’t see our website mentioned on yours.

If you took time to read a little bit the website, you should have seen that we are the biggest organization in Belgium using CC licences.

Already open for more than 3years we have over 500 belgian artists, and more than 6000 mp3 files downloadable.

We are not a label, but a community.

It would be more than appreciated if you could mention us on your website, as Electrobel is the only and true representation of copyleft artists in Belgium.
