Yeah, i've been thinking about that one too... But in the end, i don't know if it's that bad you can edit your comment. How many people actually change it anyway? You're right people should think before writing down something, but everybody can make a mistake... I'm sure the serious users on this site won't take advantage of that function, and for the others, well... funark 'em.

Ebel is excelently made...if you dont like (or cannot accept, or dont like when people change of mind)comments you can avoid users to add COMMENTS ... you go in "my world" , "musik", you select your tracks , in "edit" you have the choise "Can Users add Comments ?" only you have to unselect this fonction...

ps : you have to know what you whant, about the famous "wanker neverending story" some users remove some insults, thats what you whant ,no???so edit a comments after write it , its USEFULL!!!NO???

==> this example shows why editing comments is necesary: if you forgot a word, a part of a sentence or even a letter (because of typing too fast), you can always solve it without disturbing other members with 12 posts to say something ;)

it's like with email, suddenly you push the wrong button in the middle of your message and it's sent. Then you have to send another message to say the previous message was incomplete etc... It should indeed remain possible to edit your comments. Sometimes i start writing a comment while listening.... i type: Good structure, too bad the rythm doesn't change at all... I send the message and then the last half minute of the song, the rythm changes.... that's when i edit my comment.

@ FM7: editing it's a goo thing... because we are not stupid robots. so we have faculty to call ourselves in question. beyond the already quoted reasons, not to be able to self edit is like a censure and nobody like that.

some ppl grow, change and indeed put themselvez in question... i often play devil's advocate to see a point from a different view. how often have i edited, deleted postz, even if they felt right... just because it felt better. and when i make a mistake, do i really need 2b confronted with it forever?

pleaz, do NOT take away that liberty...

it's all these dayz about what we should or shouldn't, my god, this place getz so tense sometimez, it feelz like being in the "wetstraat".
