very nice performance/installation I find max/msp quite complicated but I just discovered " ploque bidule" a Canadian SW.It' s modular & more straight forward for a non-programmer as myself;http://www.plogue.com

and in the trend of max also check out Synthmaker (though it's more like reaktor than max)
