2bugs
Help neededi found two little gliches in this otherwise heavenly site that is e-bel ;) the first is that when i want to chage the picture for my goup, i go to the list with the alternate files i've uploaded, select one, click "OK", but nothing happens...? also i noticed that when you click on the genre next to a song, when this is "dance&rock" you don't get to see any songs in the D&R list, when you select it from the list with all genres it works fine. the other genres seem to work fine to both ways. anyway, if you could have a look at it whenever you have the time. i've signed up for a extensive 6 month webdesigncourse starting next year, so if i get trought that i'd be more than willing to lend you a hand with this wonderful site, but for now all i can do is complain to the gods of e-bel :p thanx&loads o respect

1/ Dance & Rock bug .. fixed :) my mistake ;)
2/ mmh, that's your browser not processing the javascript correctly :s works good with most people. I made it that way so it would faster and more elegant (with the different windows and stuff) but lots of people seem to have problem with client-side javascript :( so i guess i should go and put all this into 1 page "wizards" ....
bare in mind i'm the only one working on the code :) and this is my first php website :)
What browser are you working on boy (odd name to use in a sentence)?
Btw Zark, testing your javascript code on mozilla should do the trick, if it works there, it'll work on all browsers since it only supports standard JavaScript & HTML DOM, and not the extra tidbits MS supports in IE,
if you need some help on the javascript part, I'm pretty sure I can, I'm just a PM away :)

and in IE6 on xp i get javascript errors sometimes ... go figure :)
first of all thanx for looking into this so fast:) ive tried the site on mozilla 1.6 & IE 6 both running under win98, but sadly neither does the trick:( however i believe it used to work on at least one of the two before... i thought it might be due to the file(as i tried a moving gif) but i've removed it & uploded another one (no problems there) but still the ok button doesn't do anything, not even with the files that used to work... anyway... it's not like my life depends on it or anything...i think this site is really awsome especially if it's it's your first php one, so respect anyway...

ps don't shoot me, but...eum...the D&R thing is still not working over here...is there maybe something java related thingy i should download?(don't usually have any java problems, but you never know)...
maybe i missed one of the D&R's :) but i fixed one, maybe there's still another source :)

ps: this is the advantage of written the website myself without any framework such as phpnuke, there might be a couple of bugs, but at least i can fix them within seconds because i know the code by heart :)
one more left to go i'm affraight... it still doesn't work when i try to access the main list by clicking the link next to my own D&R song under "my music" the rest seems fine!!!. just mentioning it now so you can flush the last drop of evil out of this heavenly code ...hehe :D (and i shamefully have not much better to do today)
