This might have a 0.001% chance to get a response here, but I'm still gonna try.
I used to make music on my Amiga 500, with a tracker-program that was called Oktalyzer... I had version 1.54. After finding this nice community, I would really like to play the music I made back then... pretty sure it would give me some inspiration or maybe some material to work on.
I got all the disks, but I don't know how to get it onto my current PC. First of all, how would I get it in a format that my PC can even read... and second, is there a player that support the oktalyzer-tracks?
There is a shareware called "Sound-Trecker" that can play .MOD files on your Mac... not sure 'bout pc though
These are .okt files...
I've done audio recording, but the sound quality gets worse... lot's of interference from the computer itself.
cubic player can play .okt files: http://www.cubic.org/player/download.html There are lots of fora and online communities around modfiles & trackers (also amiga). Maybe you can work like that: contact the freaks, they'll show you.
