craete multi vsti audio channels in cubase sx

The most easy way is using that synth two times

So you first record your vocoded channel, and afterwards you mute that channel and record the second one...

Or you first arm channel 1 (with your vst synth) for recording and record , and you do the same recording afterwards but only arming channel 2

this is how I used to do this using cubase,

I've switched in the meantime to sonar 4 , but that's basically the same way of working ...

hope this is what you were looking for ...

there are almost no border when using sequencers like sx, sonar, of logic, you just have to try alot , and you will find out ...

sorry,but i came with the same solution,but its not enough for me,i'm convienced that there's a way, its posible to duplicate audiotracks and all other tracks,just not the output of a vsti

but i think the answer has to be in the midichannel,difrent outs r something,i'm kust speculating

cubase is the most proffesional soft,i'm a bit disapointed in that way

you are right in one way, but then you after a different problems, offcourse you can do this by routing two or even more midi outs to you vst synth

so I'm trying to understand your problem , do you want to route to midi channels to one audio input of a vst synth?

If i'm correct you'll have to create a send effect for the vocoder. So dont put it directly in line. This way you keep your unprocessed track's and have your vocoded track to mix as you like. You send your modulater to the vocoder panned hard left and the carrier hard right(or vice versa depending on the vocoder settings) I'll have to sheck how you'd actually have to do this in cubase but it can't be to hard....

or you could do like sugested and jsut record the whole deal.

i'll thank you all,to help out figger out this problem,i used to work with reason,there ya can spit any audochannel,in 4 ways.thats what i want to do with a synth,in the begining of my song i want an arpegio clean,later on i want it to be vocoded(native vocoder),i also could automate the vocoder ,and i checked out the send options,in cubase,but i have a feeling the solution cant be far away in those miditracks the shit is ,if ya copy a miditrack,it doesent copy the the acording audio vti output,that's why i think i have tochange the channels(tryed already),i already ruled out the posibilaty of creating groups,cause i would vocode the entire arpegio

together,we can come up with a solution,and may be ya'll come up with variants of our find,

another piece of evidence that producing is a filosofy,and that each software has his own quality's

& watch out for that song,melody's are already made,vocoding is done,just that small detail would give the song more flow

Did you try sending the midi notes on "All" channel to you Vsti, which can then return the audio via 2 different outputs? If your Vsti has different outputs, this should work also, and in that case, you can just insert your vocoder on one of the 2 outputs. Of course, you'll have to make sure the 2 Vsti outputs use the same sound.
