Antek case Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Gigabyte GA-EP45  motherboard 4GB DDR 800 MHz ram Barracuda HD (or a new westgate if you've got some spare money) Graphics card to your liking (A nvidia geforce 9800s seems good value for money if you intend to play a new 3D game on it) whatever dvdr combo drive thing you want comes out at more or less 600 euro depending on how much you spend on the gpu

i run gt4 on a dual core 2.2 GHz/2GO ram, it works fine for me your graphic cards is also ok

my brother runs crysis very high with his superduper pc, ati 4870 x2 ofezo, vree nieuw, grafische kaart = 450€, core 2 duo blablabla, very high end pc, and gta 4 runs at 37 frames a second at most, crysis he plays at 250 frames a sec, gta4 crashes to deskstop, no anti aliasing....

so "if u run crysis you can run everything" isn't true, i run crysis at medium/high and gta4 i have to run at very low, and i still am 25kb above my graph-card limit.(8600gt, nvidea, but still...)

• gta4 crashes, playing for an hour straigh: can't get back to bureablad. an patch has been in the making though, not sure when it's released. .... more shitty gta troubles, not gonna type em all :p...

if you need a pc just for producing your safe with a core2duo above the 2.6Gigahertz, or quadcore 2.4 (wich i have, the Q6600) and a decent soundcard. if you don't intend to play games anything that runs windows vista smoothly will do. just make sure you have enough RAM. (you'll need a 64bit vista edition if you get 4RAM or higher) some firewireplugs and usb offcourse, enough ventilation if you plan on running it for consecutive hours...

hint: go to descom in zwijnaarde, or forcom in merelbeke they build pc's for ya, and what cost 800€ in makro or ... is 650-700 there, so you just can't go wrong with that. + customers service. just take my word on it, go there

many thanks for the advice, how 'bout them pc's in den aldi? heard several decent things about them plus they're cheap.. but I have serial doubts about buying a computer in den aldi :D
