vacancy: General Manager IT-company, division Telecom

My outsourcing company has the following new vacancy: we're looking for a general manager for the telecom-division in an IT-related company.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High-level University degree

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in management positions, owning P&L responsibility Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional services environment, related to telecom and mobile services Experience with multi-lingual teams Preferred age between 35 and 40 years Having a proven track record in investment processes (as leader or team member) is an asset (however not mandatory) Having been founder or shareholder of a company, and as such experienced the rich mixture of financial, cash, operational, sales, strategy and people management issues is an asset (however not mandatory)

Required Skills:

Perfect verbal and written multi-lingual (English, Dutch, French) Inspiring confidence and conviction Decision maker (applying 80/20 rule) Natural attitude to take final ownership Passion for customers and business development Negotiation skills Self-starter, self-motivated and highly organized individual Strong ability to mobilize and direct teams Entrepreneurial spirit, who enjoys working in a high-energy dynamic team environment. Excellent presentation and verbal/written communications skills. Strong leadership, consensus building and facilitation skills Ability to conceptualize, develop and execute effective market strategies. Strong ability to create and manage budgets.
