I know the dude, but why do they have such a big succes? many people listen to that crap... ?(

it s not really my genre but i think their songs are well-made heard their latest hit on the radio yesterday and it was not that bad

first of all, he produces himself. he dj's on ibiza, has milc inc, writes music for almost every 'dance'-act in belgium (..and holland..and france..and..) So he has the means and fundings to do hid own thing by writing big money hits. Indead the music is all quit simple.. but well written. (written directly for big audiences,)

conclusion: go extremely comercial to make name and make money ;)

I on stuff like that Like usual, don't look at them as being great artists, since they are marketing products, just like K3 and stuff like that.... These days a record company will look at your appearance and think' yes, a blonde guy like that wxorks well with certain women and with gay people' ( believe me when I say this, I know someone who sang with a boysband, and it was the same ' Most of the time those bands don't write their own music, it's the studios....but here, they do write it themselves... Then they play a track from them on the radio 20 times a day, months before it gets released, promoting it over and over...And be honest, if u hear a track as much as that, it sticks in your head...(that's why I banned radio from my home )

So imo it's all commercial crap, but don't worry too much about it, if they make money like that, it's their thing, it doesn't bother me that much, I just ignore it and make my own stuff... Maybe one day....

Concentrate on what YOU do and forget about these things.... Life nowadays becomes more superficial with the minute.... Look at commercials and stuff...

If u don't like these things, don't watch programs like that, it finances those producers even more...

aah, so that's why it all sounds the same (some silly melodies, rolling snares and a chick singing something about "i love you and i will always stay with you, doebidoebidoe" for the 1000'th time ?(

It's dance music for what used to be the 'tien om te zien' crowd. You can hate it or love it, but the fact is that there's a lot of people that recognize themselves in that kind of song/lyrics just because it's simple yet well produced and brought.

And don't forget the whole marketing behind it...nowadays you can MAKE your crowd like your songs. Hell, most of these projects are started after a market study of youngsters' music.
