22/11 - Electrobel gathering at P&P
AdminI just got off the phone with ZARk.
Basically poppunt is having this event on 22/11 called Play And Produce in vooruit gent
they invited ZARk to promote the event on the website, and have suggested that we organize an electrobel get-to-gether at their event.
Because it's a good initiative, i agree with ZARk on posting it on the frontpage and talk about it a bit in the forum. But organizing a meeting there..... i'm not too much in favor. So if you could tell us what you think so we can take a decision.

if some people are motivated to do a meeting... why not... but we need serious people...
it would be interesting to know what they expect of such a meeting... promoting ebel there is a good opportunity and should be taken imho, but how do they see this meeting stuff exactly?

i think he mentioned doing a gathering not a meeting.. i cant be there, too bad and btw the administrator as Falcon, we all know that

If u are interested in having a look on the day itself: let me know – I’ll put u on the list.
Other question: I don’t know whether Electrobel has forum-gatherings once in a while. Perhaps Play & Produce could be an ideal moment to do so. Lots of the guys (and girls) that are online on the for a help each other out, have regular conversations, comment on each other’s posts, etcetera. But they hardly see each other offline or irl.
What we could is that everybody that comes to the infostand gets a sticker, we write the name of their forum and their nickname, and like that they can meet each other in real life. If their next to another forum member during the workshops, they will probably start talking with each other more easily: creating new musical friendships and collaborations, etcetera.
Or you could also pinpoint a specific hour and place on the 22 in Vooruit during which everybody meets : the moderators (or you) can introduce themselves there, meet the other members, etcetera.
If you would like to do this - give me a sign. We are also planning this with DJ2DJ, drumandbass.be, and homerecording.be
