http://www.flstudio.com/documents/whatsnew.html Damn I must be from out of space. Didn't know FL8 was released allready :o Does anyone uses it? Is it good?
yes i don't have seen some promotion about it, i don't understand why. they have include a new synth like reaktor or synthedit but i think that it is very more basic.
It is. SliceX rules (seperate outs for each slice and build in edison for destructive loop editing, and then I'm not even using the filters, envelopes etc)
Then it also has synthmaker build in. So FL studio comes with it's own reaktor build in.
Apart from that a whole lot of minor fixes and updates (edison does audio to midi now), a new compressor limiter (does the job, very nice visual feedback)
My only complaint is that they moved the slice shortcut from left shift to right shift.
Bassline: if you liked FL's workflow, you'll love it even more now. If you were never into it, that's not going to change

Whatever floats your boat, right? Well FL floats my boat, so in my case it's time well spent;)

It's the full version of synthmaker
The only drawback is that you can't compile to vst. You can only use your creations in the FL plugin version.

There is some upgrade since FL3 ;)
you know FL is very stable, and the midi gestion is more powerful than cubase sx3 (which for that is a big shit) .Also, when you use vst you got sound of the vst.

If you can't use the software, don't blame it ;) Cubase SX3 on my computer is very stable too and I don't have any problems with anything. But, I'll give a try to FL8 and I'll give my objective opinion on it.
I'll test :
If you want, you can also do that, so we can compare our tests.

Many great producers use that 'toy' and get better sound out of that toy then sx or whatever users. So think twice before saying such things...
