Okay, some basics for the first concert are beeing layed down.

The question is now : Who can play live UPBEAT music, by upbeat, i mean things pple can 'dance' to. this beeing :

  • Electro
  • Breakbeat
  • IDM
  • Dnb
  • House
  • Techno
  • Trance

I think everyone will agree it's best to do 2 nights, 1 night with things like IDM,dnb, electro, breakbeat and another with house, techno, trance .. because the scene is soo different. i personnaly wouldn't go to a night that plays both techno and dnb within a few hours ...

And for peepz that can't do live, we'll have a Final Scratch, so if you prepare your tracks you can mix them just like vinyls :)

i'm afraid i can't do live stuff ... not yet ;-) (equipment not really suited)

But when is this party ? is there a date?

i hope it is convenient for me (buzy schedule ;-)), when that is the case i'd love to make/remake some tracks so someone else can put them in the mix. but that is for much later cauz right now, no time, and i will have to put some work into the tracks.

no worry, chill-out party is scheduled too ;) later though, it'll require much more resources which we don't have right now .. a 'dance' party is easier to organise. ..

I can do live stuff, but I'll have to prepare it. I once put a breakcore set together, which was pretty cool, but a few months ago my sequencer ?crashed? and the memory got erased. Off course it never came to me to backup the patterns through a MIDI-dump, so I lost it all... I still have the sample-program in my sampler and the MIDI-framework in cubase though. Off course I could also go acid...

Mail me if you might be planning something and I'll see what I can put together... It could become somekind of acid-electro-hibrid...
