Reaktor help

hi,

at play and produce on nov 22 there's a workshop with brian smith from Native Instruments on Reaktor.  Together with Andreas Tilliander, Swedish producer they will give info on the ins and outs of this programme.  (more info in the thread on parties)  Good luck with it

it's a program that gives you the possibilities to create synths or effects, offcourse you can use synths too but therefore you have to download ensembles, wich are the saved "synths" , kinda like vst's but for reactor. but i'm not really an expert with reaktor can't help you with the synth building part

Yeah i tried that synth building thing, but it is so damn complicated! but i'll try downloading some ensembles, thanks for the advice though

reaktor is hugely deep software. if you want to create your own ensembles from scratch it could take years to learn and master the programming.But the great thing about reaktor is that it has a huge user library with some real gems in it, go look on the native instrument website and you'll see what I'm talking about..There's also plenty of great ensembles supplied with the soft, like gobox or splitter qich are amazing Personally I've been using reaktor for 3 years and i feel i've barely scratched the surface of what it can do, but i've so many ensembles to use now that I almost never use other plug-ins.  

And if you need specific help on a particular ensemble, i'd be glad to

reaktor is ace stick with it and you will find you can build anything you can think of 

well thanks! i'm starting to get an idea how to work with it :) to nonnative: these ensembles, you're talking about, they are in reaktor itself, or do they have to be bought/downloaded on the native instruments website? and nice website you've got there sporsmaal2

every track I make/made involves Reaktor .... there are so many reaktor sets in the users library that I don't do the effort to make my own ... or maybe I'm just not patient enough to learn how to ...

they're from the factory ensembles, so they come with reaktor. there's already loads of amazing stuff in there.take the time to explore the library and you'll see how powerful raktor can be. here's a couple of websites you can check for more deep info:http://www.mortmain.com/reaktor.html
