rewire cubase
Help neededokay reason is rewired in cubase no mixer in reason, i see different channels in cubase for reason instruments . now how do i record those instruments to seperate stereo tracks (how do i route like channel 3 and 4 from hardware interface to a audio track?) something with add group track... and then ?
btw i searched on i-net and found how to rewire but not the recording part so if anyone has better tutorial ... thx

If i understood correctly i'm making the following guess .. You have no mixer in reason, so all reason-instruments are directly hooked to the "Hardware Interface" of reason, and in Cubase you have activated all the Reason-Channels that you use.
So in the big cubase-mixer you see all the different reason channels.
Now to record them is not that hard. You just do it like if it was any other sound-source :) you might have to change the IN setting for the audio track to find the right one ...
So you just SOLO the track you wanna record, select an Audio Track in cubase, put it to record state, Click on Record on the Transporter and VOilaaaa You can even play in realtime on the effects in reason while it records to add that human touch ;)
yes yes i see i had to create another pair of input busses where i selected mixer in L and R i was recording analog in lol.

here's how i work:
i use two mixers in reason, one 4 drumz, one 4 soundz; i route the output of the mixerz 2 the hardware interface using 4 (2stereo) channelz. make sure 2 activate the reason rewire channelz in cubase and you get the channelz in the cubase mixer.
to record or send midi data 2 reason instrumentz, simply select the midi-track output of a particular channel (in cubase) and assign it to the reason instrument you desire from the list.
when recording from a midi-keyboard, make sure the midi-channel input is routed 2 your hardware midi record.
oh, about the final recording in Cubase, go via file/export/mixdown to wav-file.
