Ey Maybe you can help me out here.I use Cubase Studio 5 as a rewire master and Ableton Live as a rewire slave. Everytime I launch a first scene I get an annoying highpitched noise. Only the first time, when the scene is looping there's no prob. when I launch another scene when the first one is looping there's no prob either.I contacted ableton support and they told me to increase the buffer size. I followed the advice only the problem stays. When I increase the buffer size in Cubase all that happens is that the noise gets downpitched it doesn't go away. I increased buffer size to more than 1000 (leaving a latency for more than 27 MS), still having a downpitched noise when I launch the first scene in a live set.I use a macbook processor: 2,13 GHz Intelcore 2 Duo, Memory: 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM.I updated my drivers.Thanx in advance for the helpDoorchaserMac rookieAbleton rookieCubase advanced level 1

do you use an external soundcard? i also had someting similar (drops and clicks at the beginning of every loop), and it got solved when i had my MBP with external soundcard. you could also try to rebuild your ableton session. could be that the session is bugged.

I use my fast-track USB as external soundcard. But first I'll try building up the session again. Thx in advance for the advice!!

am topping this one. Os there a possibility it is due to the fast track (I use it as an external soundcard)
