Off-topicHello there! I'm new on electrobel and I don't know if it's the right place to introduce myself.
But here it is:
My name is Simon, Im a motion designer working here in Brussels. I'm doing a lot of interactive design and especially a lot of sound reactive design. My work as VJ is kind of different as I don't mix any video, don't have any loop. All the pictures I do are created in realtime from your music. I write my own custom software so the limits of my work aren't cleary fixed to some specific style. You can check my website for more informations, pics and videos.

impressive! into processing hé? i m more into the max/msp/jitter business but i ve toyed a bit with processing too. what s the input for the graphics generation? just audio analysis (freq analysis etc.) or do you use midi or other stuff as well?

Hey Thanks! Yes its all processing and java... I'm addicted! For the inputs, it really depend, it can be almost everything you can plug to a computer, I use as much audio analysis as image analysis (with a camera) and in live I use aswel some controller(until I broke it,... grrr,... I need to buy a new one). For the videos you've maibe seen its not really live, and so its not very representative. By the way thanks again and waiting for this page! Cheers!

After wasting 1 hour understanding electrobel gallery won't accept PNGs, I finally create a gallery on my last vj set. All the pictures you'll see in this gallery are generated in realtime, and so are all unique. They respond directly to the music and move according to the beat and the sound frequenties.
