We started off making a straight-forward hip hop beat for an mc we know, but the project didn't go through because of lack of time. We then went further with it by ourselves, added a sweet arp melodie (z3ta+) and some flanged percussion. The bassline (massive), with which we had some cut off fun, came in last. Not shure about the genre, called it trip hop cause that's kinda what we planned to make in the first place. Hope you like it! edit: beat turned up
very cool, like your beats and the whole trippy/psychedelic atmosphere... sad you couldn't add your mc voice, it would really fit (well, if the voice fits it of course ;) )
i like it, but i'd try to get that beat a bit more punchy, just my oppinion off course.... nice subtle sounds, keep it up....
ORGANize, that better thaw!!! :) i like this one, and the vocals in it, maybe at some point a long release cymbal or clash, but its nice!!!
great drum programming, the sounds blend in nice with everything else & each other// is the z3a+ the high melo (comes in second) or the middle (first) ?? // groove (tb303&snares) could be taken from a new wave classic (Carlos Perron, nothing is true everything is permitted) // nevertheless : great drama !!
Both, z3ta+ is our favorite, we tend to use it in every song. The possibilities are simply endless with that one
