This track started out as an intro for a friends' hardcore band. I tought it was worth elaborating on. Usually I try to make nice and fluffy productions, attempting to create a happy or peaceful mood. Only recently I discovered that the darker side of the sound spectrum can also fire my imagination and wriggle itself into a song. The basis is a choir line very much inspired by Sephirot, the rest is somewhere between dubstep and downbeat. Since a plugin I used in this one is crashing all the time I can't really finish it for the time being. And it is mixed on crappy speakers. But still, I'm quite happy about it; I hope you can give me some pointers in finding the dark side in myself :)
very massive attack style (listened earlier this evening to several live versions of 'angel'), without losing originality. Shame i didn't listen to it earlier. don't have any remarks on the existing sounds, but i would add another melody, in a high octave range, to compensate the rather low tones you use now. something like a padlike string?. anyway great atmo, cool track.
great track , nice athmosphere ! especially like the bassline at 3.50
